The Long Way

2021, mixed media on board, 36 x 24"

 This piece  starts with several layers of acrylic, watercolor and pencil.  I then collaged  pencil blind contour and gestural figure drawings on orchestral score on to the board and then added  acrylic medium, more pencil drawing and yarn.   The final layers are pastel, cold wax and oil paint.
