Outside the Window

 2021, mixed media on linen, 36 x 24"

This painting started out vertical with many layers on acrylic and pencil, followed by several layers of oil paint and some rice paper collage.  (scroll to the bottom of the page for the work in progress)  I then let it stew for a bit. I eventually reworked the panting by turning it on its side, adding more pencil and oil paint as well as some oil pastel.
