Painting begins with a layer of acrylic on linen, followed by lots of pencil drawing.  Layers of oil paint then alternate with more drawing.   The initial inspiration for this painting was from a drawing I did at the the Tom Sachs show "Space Program:Europa" (see  Ipad drawing at the bottom of the page). Title comes from the Rihanna song.
