Another One Remix

2021, mixed media on board,  24 x 18"

 Piece started as a horizontal painting with several layers of acrylic paint, then gestural figure drawing in pencil.   I collaged maps, painted deli papers, drywall tape and string onto the surface and added more acrylic and watercolor.  I then let it stew for a bit.  Later I turned it on its side. The next step was adding more pencil and watercolor, then finally oil pastel, cold wax and oil paint.
